Building for the web since I was eleven.
I started at eleven because I wanted to know how a page actually comes into being. It stuck. HTML and CSS became JavaScript, which became Angular, React, Nette — and the marketing side came with it, once I worked out that building a site is only half the job.
Most of that work was invisible. The invoice went to the agency; the code went to the client. That's fine. It means the work was good enough to be trusted.
Good work shows in the details nobody notices — because they work.
Beyond development I enjoy marketing: campaigns, analytics, content. For years I ran the digital communication of two shopping centres and worked on campaigns and graphics for regional politics. That experience changed how I think about websites — a technically perfect site nobody arrives at is just an expensive business card.
